ArenaNet has published comprehensive operational notes for Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds, introducing terrestrial Spear weapons to all 9 core professions along with account-wide Homestead housing customization.
Feature Architecture
- Land Spear Proficiency: Each class receives custom melee or ranged skillbar animations for spears. Engineers throw explosive harpoons, while Necromancers channel dark ethereal strikes.
- Homestead System: Account-bound player housing instances feature gridless decor placement, harvesting nodes, and rested experience bonuses.
- Warclaw PvE Mount: The Warclaw mount is updated with PvE combat skills, triple-jump mobility, and double-chain grappling mechanisms.
Raid & Convergence Encounters
A new 10-player Raid instance and 50-player open-world Convergence event cycle have been added to the Janthir Syntri region.
